Raised in Rowley, MA, I've lived on the North Shore my entire life. I earned a degree in voice from the University of Connecticut in 2007. I have been a member of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus (TFC), the official chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, since 2007. I have performed at Symphony Hall in Boston, Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Tanglewood Music Center in Lenox, MA. As a member of the TFC, I have performed in many operas, oratorios, masses, and symphonies, in addition to being chosen as an alternate alto soloist for the world premiere of William Bolcom's Symphony No. 8. In 2008 I was a semi-finalist in the Capital Region Opera Idol Competition. I attended Triton Regional High School in Byfield, MA, graduating in 2003. During my time at Triton, I was chosen to sing with the MMEA All-State Festival Chorus and the MENC All-Eastern Honors Chorus. In addition, I was awarded the National School Choral Award in 2003. I sang with the Cape Ann Symphony Youth Chorus from 1997-2003. I also had the experience of singing in the chorus for the major motion picture The Perfect Storm. I was a soloist and chorus member at St. Mary's Parish in Rowley, MA for fifteen years. In additon to my singing activites, I have worked full-time as a voice and piano teacher at several area music studios for the past seven years.
