Lesson Length

I provide options for lesson length! Some students may prefer half-hour lessons; some may prefer full-hour lessons. To accommodate these varying preferences, I offer both half-hour and full-hour lessons.

 

Lesson Structure

I will tailor the structure of your lesson to fit your needs. Generally speaking, lessons usually consist of a number of components, including warm-ups, reviewing the previous week’s assignments, learning new material, making assignments for the following week, and handling details related to payment and scheduling.

 

Lesson Frequency

Frequency and consistency are important factors in successful musical instruction. Lessons are generally scheduled for once a week; however, some students benefit greatly from attending more often. I offer twice-weekly scheduling for those who are interested!

 

Tuition

Tuition for one half-hour lesson is $30; tuition for one full-hour lesson is $55. Tuition is on a per person basis. 

 

Payment Structure

Lessons may be paid for on a week-to-week basis. For your convenience, you may also pay for a set number of lessons in advance. For example, if you want to pay for the month upfront to avoid needing to remember your checkbook every week, you can write a check at the beginning of the month for the number of lessons in that month – and be done with it until the next month!

 

Payment Options

Payment may be made in the form of cash or check (made payable to Make Music! Music Studio). For your convenience, you may also pay by credit card; however, there will be an additional 3% fee per transaction.
